Over the years we have interviewed literally thousands of Thai lady members and have simply generalized on the information we have been given. There is no easy or quick answer to some questions and we apologize if some answers are quite lengthy.
  
 Q: Do I have to travel to Thailand to meet a lady?
 Yes, once you have chosen your Thai lady and wish to meet her, then you must travel to Thailand and meet her.
  
 Q: If I travel to Thailand and meet the lady I have been corresponding with and it did not work out, could I then visit your office for further introductions?
 Yes, as Gold Member then you can enjoy as many personal introductions to as many lady members as you wish.
  
 Q: Why do so many Thai ladies want to meet Gentlemen from other countries?
 Thai ladies find Western gentleman a very caring race of people. They also find us attractive with our different and very broad difference in looks. Thai ladies also find in many cases the Thai male can be a little old fashioned with their views on sexual equality. Of course the Thai lady culture is one of being caring and considerate to others and they have a lot to offer a relationship. In return they will know that if they meet the right person they will be secure and looked after also.

Q: Do your Thai lady members speak English?
Yes, all Thai lady members speak English of varying degrees. We have English teachers on hand if the need arises.
 
Q: But don't Thai ladies only want a ticket to get to other countries?
This is not the case. Quite simply the Embassy's around the world regulate immigration and if they feel the intentions of the applicant are not genuine a Visa will not be granted. The British Embassy as an example can grant a Settlement Visa for six months if the application is successful. However, this would not give any permanent settlement rights to the Thai lady, and prior to the expiry of her Visa, she would have to return to Thailand. Even if the lady married in the UK, there are strict guidelines on the eligibility for her further stay in the UK. Our point is that this process is not something a Thai lady would enter into under normal circumstances unless she was very serious about her UK partner.
 
Q: What age of Thai lady partner should I be seeking?
It is normal for a Thai lady to prefer a partner who is between 10 and 15 years her senior. The reason for this is they are looking for serious future partners upon whom they can rely. Thai ladies feel more secure and prefer to opt for older more settled partners. Generally though, age is not important to them.
 
Q: How much do the Embassy's charge for Visas and who pays for this?
The British Embassy charges approx. £40-00 for a Holiday Visa and £280-00 for a Thai Ladies Settlement Visa. The British Embassy is the most expensive. The decision about who pays for this is between you and your partner.
 
Q: Do I have to pay money to the Thai ladies family?
A dowry is NOT compulsory, it is an optional gift. If you intend to marry the daughter of a Thai family then the family would lose the financial support from their daughter. All offspring in Thailand try to take care of their family when they are old for the reasons mentioned before concerning the lack of pensions at the age of retirement. You may wish to offer a financial gift to your partner’s family.
 
Q: How can I be sure Thaisingleclub will provide me with a good service?
Because our Thai office relies on successful applicants for all their further work, whether it is providing a flight ticket for a lady member, collecting customers at the airport, carrying out visa work, marriage services, etc. Simply, if you are not successful, neither are we.
